Hi! This is Olivia. We're going to do a Lemonade For Love project this Spring and Summer to raise money for people in Africa. The money will go to a 21 year old girl named Katie who lives in Uganda and takes care of lots of people there. She has 14 girls who live with her, sends 350 kids to school, and feeds over 1200 people. She has her own blog too and you can follow her story at www.kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com.
My goal is to raise $ from having lemonade stands in my neighborhood. I am also hoping my friends will join me and have their own stands to contribute to this project. $2.10 feeds one child for a whole week in Uganda! Let's see how many children we can feed by having fun selling lemonade!! You can even make cookies or treats to sell too!
